A fair writing-process workflow for tutoring practices
The student tool stays free. The implementation service helps adult staff test one voluntary workflow, train the team and document a private hand-in route.
When an AI detector flags a student's essay, a writing-process record gives the student concrete evidence to share. It does not promise a grade, admission decision or other outcome.
The detectors have documented false-positive problems, and they land hardest on exactly the students many practices serve. A 2023 study in Patterns (Liang et al.) found that seven AI detectors falsely flagged 61 percent of essays written by non-native English speakers. Not every detector on the market was in the tested set.
AI humanizer tools are designed to make generated text score low on a detector. Receipts does not judge finished wording. If text is pasted, the record shows that directly; retyping or device-level automation remains possible, so the record is never a verdict. More on how this differs from detection.
What Receipts does
Receipts records the editing events it can observe: typing, pauses, rewrites, deletions, clipboard input and input whose route the browser could not identify. A student can share the replay and facts for a teacher, school or admissions office to review. It produces evidence, not a verdict. The absence of a record is neutral and never evidence against a student.
The core tool is free for every student, permanently. Recording, replay and proof links do not cost a student anything, whether their tutor's practice buys implementation help or not. The evidence itself is never paywalled.

The first conversation is 15 minutes, adult-only and uses a made-up sample record. No student data is needed.
You can also try the free app without a call. Or watch a sample record replay: it is a constructed demonstration, labelled inside the replay, and it opens with no account.
The founding practice implementation
Receipts itself is free. The $999 fee is for bounded, founder-led implementation: fitting one workflow to your practice, testing it on your device and network, training your adult staff, documenting the private hand-in route and supporting one adult administrator. If your practice can run the free workflow without help, do that and do not buy this service.
$999, one time, for one practice team with up to 10 active tutors. You pay $400 after the service order is signed and $599 only after the written setup checklist passes, both sides initial acceptance and the five-business-day review window closes. Prices are in US dollars before applicable taxes.
| What | When | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| To start | After the service order is signed | $400 |
| Balance | After checklist acceptance and the review window | $599 |
| Implementation total | One team, up to 10 active tutors | $999 |
| Support period | 30 days after acceptance | |
What the $999 covers
- One tested workflow. One adult tutor and one voluntarily participating student run a real assignment on your actual browser, device and network. The intended adult recipient opens the proof through your private hand-in route.
- Four total founder hours, including one live group training. Up to 10 active tutors may attend the same 45-minute session. The fee does not include individual onboarding, repeated training or one-to-one support for every tutor. You also receive a written guide and an accessible alternative on request.
- A usable policy kit. You receive the tutor workflow, a student and parent notice, private hand-in guidance and an equivalent route for any student who does not want to use Receipts.
- 30 days of bounded support. One named adult administrator gets email triage and coordination within one business day and up to 30 scheduled minutes total. It is not individual-student support, unlimited investigation, consulting or guaranteed resolution time.
What this is not. This is a founder-led implementation service around the free core workflow, not a practice-wide Premium or Defense entitlement. Individual paid features are still bound to the individual purchaser's Google account. The app does not yet have safe organisation-wide paid activation, so no tutor or student will be asked to share a Google account or another person's licence key. No roster, dashboard, LMS integration or future feature is included unless a signed amendment names it. Receipts does not establish who operated the browser, prevent retyping or guarantee that a school accepts the record.
How to purchase
Email your organisation's legal name, jurisdiction and active tutor count. We send a service order naming the exact scope, four-hour cap, setup test, privacy rules and authorised signers. Once both sides sign it, an authorised adult representative of Receiptsproof sends the private payment route for the $400.
The remaining $599 is due only after the written checklist passes, both sides initial acceptance and the five-business-day review window closes. If you change your mind before the first setup session or written configuration begins, the initial payment is refunded in full. The organisation terms remain public for due diligence, and the signed service order states exactly which parts apply.

Due diligence. Receipts is a one-person company, Receiptsproof Pte. Ltd., and there is no commercial insurance yet. The organisation terms are public at /school-terms. In standard mode student writing stays in the student's browser and their own Google Drive, but a proof link works like a spare key: whoever has it can open the essay, replay and deleted passages. That is why setup tests a private hand-in route and participation remains voluntary. No record guarantees acceptance. A practice can test the free app with one tutor and one student before signing.
